Drumlanrig Autoclassica Featured Attractions
Invited exotic historic vintage and classic vehicles representing the attending marques with owners entering the spirit of the Autoclassica retro theme by turning out in period costume.
Each year the Autoclassica will present two famous celebration marques displays featuring exotic or significant examples of vehicles that best represent those marques.
A short 150 metres blast off the line evoking visual, sound and moving memories stretching back over one hundred glorious years of motorised transport to the early 1900s. A unique opportunity to compare the extraordinary development of the automobile with iconic, significant or famous marque road going saloons, sports, competition vehicles plus modern supercars and bikes taking part.

A major attraction for all concours enthusiasts on Sunday with the castle providing a superb backdrop. Competitors will be judged on all aspects by our team of experienced national concours judges and the winner presented with the coveted Drumlanrig Autoclassica National Concours d’Elegance Trophy.
A paddock specifically reserved for vehicles (both cars & motorbikes) possessing a racing or competition pedigree. Many will be included in the “Grid Line Start” Demonstration Runs.
An exhibition celebrating the enormous contribution made to motorsport by Scottish drivers and riders.
A short 40 mile Saturday morning scenic drive via the amazing Mennock Pass offering some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland to the picturesque village of Wanlockhead and the fascinating lead mining museum. Wanlockhead is the highest village in Scotland at 461m / 1531 feet above sea level.
Invited Clubs and owners of veteran, vintage and classic cars and bikes plus modern sports and supercars will be on display in enclosures within the castle grounds. Entering into the spirit and fun of the Autoclassica many will arrive in period dress reflecting the era of their vehicles. Post 70’s vehicle owners in 50’s and 60’s costume.
Sponsors manufacturers and dealers are invited to exhibit and to meet with their clients and visitors to the Autoclassica,
The Trade Village traders, service and lifestyle providers and autojumblers, all forming part of the auto movement will be exhibiting.
The Drumlanrig Autoclassica gathering celebrates the heritage of motorised transport and to help capture the atmosphere of past glorious years both participants and visitors are encouraged to arrive in period costume. The range of clothing possibilities is vast as it can embrace periods from the early 1900’s right through to the 1970’s.
Overlooking the castle and activities a haven to relax and enjoy a light refreshment, one of a number of food and drink outlets.
